ooh, i am wearing jeans today! casual friday…yeah, i work for the man.

I see this as a form of eliteism. Countless IO Psych studies have shown a happier and more productive workforce wearing casual garb.

Companies should go comletely casual with the exception of people who represnt your company to the outside world, eg. salesmen.

Working for a university I can pretty much wear whatever I want.  The only thing off limits are shorts and flip-flops.  It is one of the few things I really like about my job.
