review: send a bullet

Send a Bullet is a documentary-style film about the corruption and class warfare in Sao Paulo, Brazil —a place where kidnapping is rampant, even the extremely wealthy don’t feel safe, and corrupt politicians embezzle untold amounts of money from reform initiatives (SADUM). With a population of over 20 million it is virtually impossible to police. Crime hasn’t only been legitimized it has become the only way to survive.

The film does a really great job showing the different aspects in which crime has influenced Brazil. If you get a chance to see this I highly recommend it.
