Ohhhh My God! It has happened!
Update: although re-blogged 30 times over I was completely unaware of this until Sara informed me.
Weirdest thing just happened… I woke up from my nap with tears running down my face. I’m not exactly sure what I was dreaming about but I know it involved my sister.
While my sister and I haven’t always gotten along I think it was a sign or something that maybe I should pay more attention to her. Maybe I should invest a little more effort making sure I can help her get her life on track. I feel like she is at that age that could benefit from some mentoring and I want to see to it that I provide her with guidance and reassurance that I certainly could have seen more of.
I’m one of those people that prefers to have music on when I’m going to sleep. In fact, I’m pretty sure I’ve grown dependent on it to some degree because I have a hard time falling asleep without music on in the background. I have a few CDs I always go to. The most frequent in the rotation include:

if only samuel would finally ask me out for coffee and a grope. damn that good-looking jewish boy.
Samuel - “Say Goodbye”
Currently building steam on the world wide intertubes is NYC comp-rock star Samuel. Part of the downtown heavyroc music collective and feted by Mark Ronson on his radio show, Samuel pumps out driving, dance-y tracks laced with super-sweet vocal melodies.
While comparisons to other electro-pop artists and bands might abound, Samuel has something the others do not: swagger. Afraid of nothing and ready to take on anything, Samuel has both the sweetness and the attitude that artists need to maintain and grow. Check out his MySpace for more music and info, his influences are a particularly good read too.
